White Temple and Golden Triangle One Day Tour from Chiang Mai

Find inspiration for an amazing nature holiday with a touch on local culture and way of life. Our car picks you up at a hotel at around 7am before heading to the Mae Kachan Hot Spring. Then we make a stop at Wat Rong Khun, dubbed “The White Temple,” which is ranked one of the Top Ten Underappreciated Wonders of The World. The temple, founded by well-known national artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, embodies modern art and architecture and blend them with traditional Lanna culture beautifully. As you enter the compound, do not step back because it is believed that you’re walking toward Hell. The murals on the wall are all painted by Chalermchai himself. After the temple, we make our way to the Golden Triangle, an intersection of three countries (Thailand, Myanmar and Laos). We have a lunch break there at the Triangle before we travel to a Mae Sai district to shop at Mae Sai Market. We stop by to see a local hill tribe’s way of life before returning to Chiang Mai city at around 9pm.  Note: This program is available every day.
